Bridget Moynahan Out In LA

Bridget was seen heading to lunch in Los Angeles yesterday no longer sporting a bump but a ‘bullet’.

Her belly has changed from a cute round shape to an outwards oval and it is sitting low, which may mean that the Brady baby could arrive soon.

I still think that she is having a boy!

UK Mom Delivers 14lb 7oz Baby!

Wowsers! A Uk mom has delivered a baby that weighs twice the average weight of a newborn.

As Amanda Ellerton’s delivery day drew near and then passed she knew that she was probably expecting a bigger than average baby.

But little did she realise quite how big.

Son Shaune was born after a six-hour labour, weighing a hefty 14lb 7oz. And what is more, his 24-year-old mother gave birth naturally!

Amanda arrived at the hospital at 5pm because she was 10 days overdue and the size of the baby was causing her pain.

Hospital staff broke her waters and started the birth which soon became complicated because of the sheer size of the youngster.

His shoulder became lodged behind the pelvic bone and it took four midwives to set him free.

The mother, who lost three litres of blood during labour, said: “I couldn’t understand why he wasn’t coming easily.

“Once his head appeared I could see everyone in the room take a gasp because he was so big. It was very painful but it was all worth it for our big bundle of joy.

“It all happened so fast but they said it was an emergency and only afterwards did I realise how much danger we were both in. If they knew the size they would have given me a Caesarean.

“Afterwards it seemed everyone in the hospital came to see the baby. They were all just amazed by him.”

Shaune is a little lighter than Britain’s heaviest baby, Guy Warwick Carr, from Cumbria, who was born in 1992 weighing 15lb 8oz.

The Guinness Book of World Records says the heaviest baby ever born was to Anna Bates of Canada in 1879. It weighed 23.12lb and died 11 hours after birth.

The world record living new born according the Guinness record keepers was a boy born weighing 22lb 8oz at Aversa, Italy, in 1955.

More recently Francisca do Santos gave birth to a son weighing 16lb 11 oz by Caesarean section in Brazil.

Baby Spice Delivers Baby Boy

Congratulations to Emma Bunton and boyfriend Jade Jones on the safe arrival of their first baby.

Beau, which in French means “beautiful,” was born on Friday at 11:12 a.m. and weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 15oz.

Speaking outside London’s Portland Hospital, Jones said: “He is absolutely brilliant, and both baby and Emma are doing fine. In fact Emma is tucking into some flapjacks and Coca-Cola as we speak.”

The new father added, “We are both absolutely delighted and can’t wait to take Beau home.”

Jones, 27, is a former member of the British boy band Damage. He and Spice Girl Bunton, 31, have been together for eight years and moved into a five-bedroom home in her native north London in 2005.

Motherhood for the youngest of the reunion-bound five-piece has been difficult to achieve.

In 2000, Bunton had to have pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix. Last year, she revealed she’d been diagnosed with endometriosis, a painful condition in which the lining of the uterus begins growing in other areas of the body, making it difficult to conceive.

Less than two months ago, Bunton told PEOPLE: “I’m getting a little feisty now that I am pregnant.”

Couple Name Baby ‘Superman’

At the end of June I reported on a family that was fighting to name their baby 4real.

When Pat and Sheena Wheaton tried to register their son’s name, officials rejected it because it contains a number.

Not willing to settle with a John or James the New Zealand couple opted for their next choice - ‘Superman’.

Still unhappy about the non approval of the first name, they are considering legal action against their government’s Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages to get the initial decision overturned.

Even though his official name is Superman, they still call him 4real.

The Wheatons decided on the name after seeing the baby for the first time in an ultrasound scan and realising their baby was “for real”.

They decided 4Real was the best way to write it, but the name was rejected because the registrar said a name had to be a sequence of letters, with no numbers.

The same rules are in place in most countries, including the UK.

They were told that it would be perfectly alright for them to name their son For Real, but the couple dismissed the idea, claiming it didn’t have the same ring to it.

Mrs Wheaton said: “For most of us, when we try to figure out what our names mean, we have to look it up in a babies book and there’s no direct link between the meaning and the name.

“With this name, everyone knows what it means.”

Newspaper reports of their unusual wrangle sparked a flurry of comments on the internet, many of them mocking and criticising the couple.

But with their son now two months old, Mr Wheaton remains defiant.

He said: “No matter what, it’s going to stay 4Real. I’m certainly not a quitter.

“I did go online and Google some of the stories but as tough as I am it does get to you.

“But there’s no point getting upset, it could be a ten-year-old school girl making those comments.”

We all know he is for real, he is here and breathing. There is no need to put it in his name to remind us. I think that this is now an issue of principle and press. This story has gotten so much press that I am sure that this couple felt like they needed to fight.
