Robeez Luxurious Infant Shoes

I recently had the opportunity to check out the new Robeez Luxury collection.

There were many things about these soft soled infant shoes that impressed me, but the one thing that stood out was the elegance.

Each pair is designed with a beautifully embroidered logo, cushioned insoles and a finished ankle band with contrast piping.

The material is breathable to keep feet cool and comfortable during the summer months.

The soft colors and even softer materials make these slip ons perfect for a christening, wedding or a night out on the town.

This Luxury line would be a perfect gift for the baby that has everything.

Are Your Kids Vaccinations Up To Date?

In a report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention researchers say that more than a quarter of American children are not meeting the U.S. government’s recommendations for childhood vaccinations.

Looking at children between 18 months and their 3rd birthday, the CDC researchers found that 28 percent did not meet vaccination recommendations. The results were based on a 2005 government survey involving 17,563 U.S. children in that age group.

Two thirds of those children had missed doses, with the rest getting them at the wrong age or too soon after a previous dose to be considered completely effective.

Even with the missed or late doses, the United States has one of the best childhood vaccination records in the world, with fewer than 1 percent of parents not having their children vaccinated at all said Elizabeth Luman of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.

“For the vast majority of parents, they’re bringing their children to get vaccinated. The schedule is very complex and it requires a lot of visits to vaccination providers at specific times. And for parents who are busy, that can be really logistically difficult,” Luman said in a telephone interview.

Charlotte Church Takes Ruby For A Stroll

First time mom Charlotte Church takes 7 month old daughter Ruby out for a walk in South Wales yesterday.

The 22-year-old singer, has been taking some time out of the spotlight to be with Ruby.

The Charlotte Church Show will be back on the air this summer.

A rep for the production company recently said

“She’s raring to put down the pot cleaner and pick up the microphone.”

It’s nice to see her out with the baby.

I believe that Charlotte pushes Ruby in a Tutti Bambini stroller in last years colors/pattern, but it hard to tell because she has it reclined with the hood off .

Having a Dog May Reduce Kids Allergies

German researchers believe that having a dog in the house reduces the risk that young children will develop allergies.

The study, which was conducted over a six-year period, found that growing up with a pet trains the immune system to be less sensitive to potential triggers for allergies like asthma, eczema and hay fever.

Kids may get beneficial early exposure to germs carried into the house on the animal’s fur, which helps their immune systems develop.

“Our results show clearly that the presence of a dog in the home during subjects’ infancy is associated with a significantly low level of sensitization to pollens and inhaled allergens,” said Joachim Heinrich of the National Research Centre for Environmental Health in Munich.

The same protective effect was not seen in children who had frequent contact with dogs but did not have one at home.

Previous studies have suggested that exposure to pets may have a protective effect against allergies but many of these studies were based on retrospective questioning of subjects about their exposure.

I knew our dog was good for more than giving kisses and finishing my sons half eaten dinners!
