A UK woman, who didn’t even know she was pregnant, was out for a friends stag when she went into labour dressed in a bumblebee costume.
Ally Ashwell, 30, was out celebrating her friend’s upcoming wedding when she began to feel sick.
She then returned to her hotel room on her own because she “didn’t want to spoil the fun”.
There, a few minutes later, she began to give birth and delivered her son 14 weeks premature.
As soon as her water broke she dialed 999 (our equivalent to 911) but her baby, who she named Owen, was born very quickly, weighing just 2lb.
Baby and mom were transported to the intensive care, where Owen survived the crucial first few days and is now said to be making good progress.

A baby girl, born Monday in Poland, had a blood alcohol level of 0.29 percent, almost 15 times over the country’s adult drunk-driving limit of 0.02 percent, according to a report.
In the U.S., the adult drunk-driving limit is 0.08.
Doctors at a hospital in Otwock, on the outskirts of Warsaw, Poland, called the police after the drunk expectant mother checked in to give birth.
The 38-year-old mother’s blood alcohol level was 0.12 percent, which is the equivalent of drinking a bottle of wine, according to the report.
The mother could face up to five years in prison on charges of endangering the life and health of her child, it is reported. Doctors said the baby is not in immediate danger, but the alcohol may impact her development.
Last summer I was shocked to write about another Polish baby that was tested 12 hours after he was born and found to have a blood-alcohol level six times the legal limit for driving.
Who drinks a bottle of wine when they are 40 weeks pregnant?

A Swedish couple has won the right to name their baby son Lego after a legal battle.
Couples in Sweden have previously run into trouble with officials over the names Ikea, Veranda, Metallica and the use of Elvis for a girl.
The Swedish Administrative Court of Appeals has now overruled an earlier decision to stop a couple naming their child after the brightly coloured plastic building blocks.
In Swedish law, offensive, unsuitable or inappropriate names are all forbidden, as well as names that could embarrass the people they are given to.
Lego’s was just the latest in a series of cases in which the tax authority or County Administrative Court have questioned unusual names for youngsters.
I just don’t understand why a parent feels the need to go SO outside of the box when naming their baby.
They obviously forget how cruel kids are on the playground…

Congratulations to Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott on the safe arrival of their second baby.
Stella Doreen McDermott arrived at 3:13 p.m. in a Los Angeles hospital via C-section.
The newest McDermott weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long, a rep for Spelling says.
The couple also have a 1-year-old son, Liam Aaron. McDermott, 41, has a son, Jack, 9, from a previous marriage.
After finding out the baby’s sex, Tori was quoted saying,
“I’ve always wanted a little girl since I’m such a girly girly. I immediately started crying. I couldn’t believe it. I have my beautiful little boy and now I’ll have my little girl! It’s amazing.”
