Tori Spelling launched her new book Mommywood Monday night with husband Dean McDermott, son Liam, 2, and baby daughter Stella, 10 months.
Her book is coincidentally being released at the same time as her mom’s book Candyland. This has put both women in the spotlight, re-igniting talks about why the pair doesn’t get along.
Tori spoke about the distance between the two saying,
‘It’s not like we’re not talking, we just haven’t talked.
‘I love my mother. I’ve always loved her (and) no doubt she loves me.’
The actress said that although the pair never ‘meshed’ there was no animosity.
Tori added: ‘There’s no feud. We simply never meshed.’
‘I, in no way, cut her off. She is welcome to make the effort if she wants to be present in their lives. She knows how to reach me, she knows where we live.
‘If she would love to see her grandchildren, she should really make an effort to reach out and see them.’
