Here is a story you don’t hear everyday…
When Michael Matthew Mintz arrived on Dec. 5, he came with something not many other babies have when they’re born.
“He was 7 lbs. 13 oz., 21 inches long with a mouth full of chompers,” said his father Keith Mintz.
As the nurses were cleaning the newborn up the doctor called the new daddy over and said, ‘Come here, I want to show you something. He’s got teeth.'”
The proud papa, who was not fazed, then relayed the news to his family waiting outside the delivery room.
“I said, ‘He’s healthy, he’s here, he’s got teeth,'” Mintz said.
The condition is called natal teeth and happens once in every 2,000 to 3,000 births. The new parents will now have to take care of the teeth and watch that the baby doesn’t choke on one if it comes loose… Related Articles:
