Kelly Rowland is a mom! People.com is reporting the singer welcomed her first child with husband Tim Witherspoon.
On Tuesday, Nov. 4 Titan Jewell Witherspoon was born weighing 7.5 lbs at Born at 1:30 p.m.
“We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son,” the singer said in a statement. “We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!”
Just a month after tying the knot the Destiny’s Child singer announced she was expecting.
During an interview with ELLE Magazine in October Kelly revealed, “I’m excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part.”
She also noted that she didn’t have a parenting plan. She was just going to “play it by ear. Everybody has their normal. And sometimes, award shows are a part of that. I have girlfriends who have that experience, and they’ll say ‘You know, I just really didn’t want to be without my child today.’ And it’s just that simple. It’s about finding your normal, whatever that may be.”
Congratulations to the couple! We can wait to meet their bundle of joy.
