Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas has ruled that Pamela Bach, ex-wife of Hasselhoff, can visit their two teen-aged daughters on alternate weekends and Wednesday nights for dinner.
According to their lawyer, Melvin S. Goldsman, Hasselhoff has expressed that if the children feel comfortable, he is willing to let them see their mother more frequently. This decision marks a significant change for the actor, who was temporarily denied access to the children due to a video of him intoxicated. Hasselhoff regained his parental rights after agreeing to alcohol testing.
Leaving the courtroom with a smile, he commented that the judge had recognized the children’s need for stability. Bach did not provide a statement but was seen crying in the courthouse hallway.
Hasselhoff, 54, filed for divorce from Bach, 42, in January 2006 after 16 years of marriage, and they have been in an ongoing dispute over finances and custody of their daughters.
