Royal Caribbean Announces New Beach Club Destination in Cozumel

Royal Caribbean has just upped the cruise experience in Cozumel.  Currently one of the most popular experiences for cruisers visiting the island for the day is beach clubs. Destinations like Mr. Sanchcos and Paradise Beach offer a variety of activities along with food and beverages for vacationers staying for the day.

Michael Bayley echoed this sentiment, adding, “The excitement for our Royal Caribbean destinations has been growing ever since we unveiled Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, set to open in 2025. Now, we’re delighted to introduce the next chapter with Royal Beach Club Cozumel. This stunning destination perfectly complements the island’s allure, offering a blend of Royal Caribbean charm with the vibrant spirit of Mexico, along with amenities and activities to suit every family member.”

At Royal Beach Club Cozumel guests will indulge in Royal Caribbean’s renowned attention to detail, with a range of experiences including swim-up bars, dedicated pools for relaxation and family fun, private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, and more. Visitors can explore various dining spots offering scenic views and authentic Mexican flavors, along with a bustling street market and engaging activities such as tequila tastings and cooking classes.

Mara Lezama, governor of Quintana Roo, expressed her pride in the partnership, stating, “We are honored that Royal Caribbean International has selected Quintana Roo to establish Royal Beach Club Cozumel, enriching the experience for countless visitors to our enchanting island. Our administration remains committed to fostering collaborations with the private sector to develop modern, sustainable infrastructure and create local employment opportunities. Projects like these underscore our dedication to maintaining our position as the premier port of call in Latin America.”

This new addition won’t be a destination but an excursion option for those visiting the port. We look forward to learning more about Royal Beach Club Cozumel along with pricing and included amenities for visiting guests. Currently entrance, including all-inclusive drinks and food averages, at the present clubs is $95 per adult and $40-$50 per child plus transportation.
