Gerber Products Company has issued a nationwide recall and permanent discontinuation of all batches of GERBER® SOOTHE N CHEW® TEETHING STICKS due to a potential choking hazard for babies and young children. This decision follows consumer complaints, including one reported emergency room visit linked to the product.

This recall affects only the above flavors and sizes of Gerber’s teething sticks.

Gerber took action after receiving multiple consumer complaints about choking incidents involving the product. Although teething sticks are designed to dissolve as babies gnaw on them, concerns over unexpected breakage or insufficient dissolution led the company to proactively remove these products from the market.
