“The princess arrived at 6 months ???? I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far ?”

In the picture, the baby appears to be wrapped in plastic to help regulate her body temperature—a simple yet effective technique that mimics the warm, moist environment of the womb. This method is often used before transferring the baby to a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) incubator. Research indicates that using plastic wrap or bags can significantly improve temperature regulation and reduce the risk of hypothermia-related complications in extremely preterm infants.
Cori’s pregnancy faced significant challenges due to her diagnosis of HELLP syndrome—a severe pregnancy complication characterized by Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelets. This life-threatening condition necessitated an emergency cesarean section to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Cori shared her experience on Instagram Stories, emphasizing the importance of listening to one’s body and expressing gratitude for the successful procedure.
In her Instagram stories, Cori showed an image of her pumping colostrum for her newborn. And while the baby may not be able to have it yet, it will provide the nutrients she will need in the coming weeks. She also shared a photo from her C-section, marking the procedure as a success and expressing her relief and thankfulness.
