The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Sterling Silver Teething Rings have announced the recall of about 1,000 teething rings because the silver ball that holds the ring in place can separate and release the beads inside.
The recalled sterling silver teething rings were sold in three styles: single ring with ball, single ring with heart and ball, and three rings with ball. The hollow ring has small beads inside that make a rattling sound and a ball soldered between the rings.
Parents should take the teething rings from infants and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund or replacement.
