Amanda Peet, the actress who recently became a mother to daughter Frances Pen, is experiencing the challenges and joys of parenthood. Despite the exhaustion that comes with caring for a newborn, Peet believes it is all worth it.
During an event benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, Peet shared that she is very busy with her baby, jokingly referring to her as a “projectile-vomiting baby.” She admitted that the early days of motherhood can be incredibly difficult due to sleep deprivation. However, Peet is currently overjoyed as her daughter recently started smiling.
When asked about the possibility of expanding their family, Peet and her husband, David, expressed their interest in having more children. While David wants three, Peet acknowledges her age and feels that two children will be enough.
Peet credits her mother for giving her the best advice, and she considers herself fortunate to have a husband who is willing to share in diaper duty. David also helps with night feeds, allowing Peet some much-needed rest. Despite the challenges, Peet admits that the lack of sleep is the hardest part of being a new parent.
Overall, Amanda is embracing the ups and downs of parenthood and cherishing the special moments with her baby.
