American Girl and Disney, two beloved brands known for their inspiring characters and captivating stories, have announced an exciting collaboration. Coming later this year, they will be launching a special collection featuring the Disney Princess franchise and the Disney Frozen franchise.
Following the success of last year’s Disney x American Girl Disney Princess Collector Doll series, the first wave of the new core collection has been unveiled. This includes beautifully crafted 18-inch dolls of beloved princesses Ariel, Tiana, and Cinderella. Each doll comes with an authentically designed signature dress and a variety of fashion extras. The collection also offers highly detailed outfits and special accessories to enhance storytelling and playtime.

Last summer’s launch of three collector dolls was incredibly popular, showcasing the strong demand for this iconic collaboration between Disney and American Girl. Rob Michaelis, VP of North America Brand Commercialization at Disney, expresses pride in the attention to detail found in this expanded line of Disney Princess inspired dolls, which accurately represent Disney’s beloved characters.
The new Disney and American Girl collection features fan-favorite characters, including:
- American Girl® Disney Princess Ariel Doll: With aqua-colored eyes and red wavy hair styled with side swept bangs, she comes dressed in a classic mermaid-style dress.
- American Girl® Disney Princess Tiana Doll: Featuring brown eyes and curly black hair styled in a high bun with face-framing tendrils, she arrives wearing her signature green-and-yellow dress.
- American Girl® Disney Princess Cinderella Doll: With blue eyes and blonde hair styled in a high bun adorned with a blue headband and curled bangs, she wears her iconic blue ballgown and glittery “glass slippers.”
In addition to the dolls, American Girl has also released some fashion collections to tell more of the doll’s story. Two costume changes are being offered for each princess. Fans can also purchase the bundle that includes the doll along with the two additional outfits.
