I love baby gear.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I spent hours I should have been working researching car seats, strollers, carriers and even diaper pails. She’s three now and I recently had a son in April. In turns out, a ton of new baby stuff has come out in the last three years. I tried to find excuses to buy the latest stuff. It just didn’t make sense since we already had the staples. I’m still trying to find excuses. At least I get to buy new boy clothes.
The DockATot was the one of the few items I didn’t need an excuse to get. I read all the reviews and it seemed magical.
Designed for babies from birth to 8 months, the unique bed creates a soft environment for little ones to lie in and feel safe and comforted. This is acheived with the combination of a breathable bumper and mattress that work together to create a ‘womb-like’ space for your baby. The bottom of the ‘dock’ comes with a clip that can be left open for diaper changes, tummy time or as your little one gets older.
We co-slept with my daughter for a long time. Not because it was a major parenting decision but because it was the only way I got any sleep. I didn’t think it would be feasible with my son, because I was pretty sure we’d also have a three-year old in our bed at some point during the night.
This is why the DockATot is so great. My son is still in the bed next to me, but when my daughter needs to snuggle, nobody squishes him. Plus, I love that he’s so close. The one night he actually slept in the bassinet, I was constantly getting up and checking on him. My mom paranoia is much better when he’s right next to me.
The DockATot comes in a crisp white with the option to add additional covers. This is nice because it allows you to switch things up but also add a pop of color if you are looking for something more stylish.
A handle on the top makes it easier to move the bed around the house and the included shipping bag is perfect for keeping it clean if you need to take it on vacation or to a friend’s house for naptime.
The first few months of being a parent of two have been chaotic in our house. The DockATot has been a godsend because if my son actually decides to sleep its where he does it. Plus, having him close makes night feedings much more convenient.
- Age: 0-8M

I have been wanting to try to Dock-a-tot for our new little one! Great review
One thing I really wish I would have had was a dock a tot!
I have heard so many good things about this product and I’m seriously considering getting one when we have our next baby.
I don’t have the dock but I have the snuggle me sleeper and essentially it is the same concept and works wonders for my baby since birth!
