We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Draper Hotel on 37th Street in New York City. Opting for the Double Double room, our family found it to be a great choice for both comfort and convenience.
Room Quality: The Double Double room was spacious by New York City standards, with two comfortable double beds that easily accommodated our group of four.
The beds were outfitted with comfortable mattresses and high-quality linens, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel and exploring the city. The room was clean and well-maintained, with modern decor that felt both stylish and inviting.
Amenities: The room came equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The flat-screen TV offered a variety of channels, and the free Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. The mini-fridge and coffee maker were convenient additions, allowing us to store snacks and prepare morning coffee before heading out. The bathroom was well-appointed with luxurious toiletries, a modern shower, and ample towels.
While there were no actual closets in the room, the hotel got creative with its storage solutions. On top of the beverage station was a rack to hang your clothes.
The safe was tucked away in a drawer at the end of the bed as was the iron and ironing board.
Service: The service at the Draper Hotel was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were seamless processes. Our room was ready when we arrived which was a welcome surprise after a 10-hour drive.
Location: The hotel’s location on 37th Street is a major plus.
It’s within walking distance to many of Manhattan’s top attractions, including Times Square, Bryant Park, and the Empire State Building. Additionally, it’s close to several subway lines, making it easy to navigate the city. Despite its central location, the hotel is situated on a relatively quiet street, which helped to ensure a peaceful night’s sleep.
Overall Experience: Overall, our stay in the Draper Hotel’s Double Double room was fantastic. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and a prime location made it perfect for one night in New York City.
