TV Guide reported today that “Waylon Albert ‘Blackjack’ Jennings was born on Thursday morning.
While it may sound traditional, the new baby comes by his name naturally. The son of Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, Shooter’s given name is Waylon Albright Jennings.
The new dad took to Twitter today to thank fans for all their well wishes saying,
“Thanks for all the kind words folks! We’re super lucky to have so many kind friends!”
The new baby joins the couple’s oldest daughter Alabama Gypsyrose. Drea and Shooter have been together for nine years, and have been engaged since 2009. Best of luck to them on the new arrival!
