Emma Bunton and her boyfriend Jade Jones are expecting their first child, marking a major milestone for the couple.
Known as Baby Spice, the 31-year-old is excited to pass on the “Baby” tag to their deserving little new owner, as she shared in a statement.
Bunton and Jones, who have been together for eight years, recently moved into a spacious five-bedroom home in north London in 2005. The couple expressed their happiness and gratitude for the news, stating that it was an incredible way to start the New Year. However, they did not disclose the baby’s due date or gender.
Bunton has faced some health challenges in the past, including having pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix in 2000 and being diagnosed with endometriosis last year. Despite her concerns about conceiving, she shared her hope of having a baby of her own while also being open to adoption.
The new addition to Bunton’s family will join the ever-growing Spice Girl brood, as Geri Halliwell welcomed her first child eight months ago and Victoria Beckham has three children.
