We have a peek at Laila Ali’s nursery for baby Sydney. The new mom teamed up with the Los Angeles Celebrity Interior Designer Team of Naomi Alon and Gerri Panebianco (Little Crown Interiors) to create an enchanting and peaceful space for the new addition!
Fittingly Laila chose Carousel Designs’ Love Birds crib bedding, curtains, changing pad cover, pillow, and a Coco Mat from Naturalmat.
Additional decor and furniture include a Rocker and Ottoman by SPI Baby, a pink ‘Hope’ crib & changer by Newport Cottages, a Crystal Nursery Chandelier with Shades, and a Ceiling Medallion by Silly Bear Lighting
To finish the room off a beautiful photo of Laila and her famous dad Muhammad Ali hangs over Sydney’s crib.
Laila told People.com that she and Sydney have already established a girls-only ritual.
“Because I get up so much with her, we are sleeping in a separate room,” Ali, 33, explains. “My favorite time is the evening when CJ goes to sleep and I have her in the room and it’s quiet. We have our quiet moment together.”
She is excited to teach her daughter important life lessons like “how to cook and how to be a lady” and “how to be strong but still be feminine and confident.”
