Gro Furniture founders, David and Aimee Singelyn, set about creating furniture that would not only be durable and functional, but also be a true heirloom piece. The first 2 cribs were built for their own children, and the design of these very cribs would then become the Gro crib.
Starting life out as a beautiful, hardware-free crib, the Gro crib can be changed into a toddler bed simply by swapping a toddler bed conversion panel for one of the crib sides. The crib can then either be converted into a daybed, or a play-table/desk depending on the needs of the growing child! Awesome design that results in a multi-functional piece of furniture to be loved and used as the child grows! The clever hardware-less design makes for easy assembly without sacrificing strength or durability. The bam b. features a gorgeous contrast design that is created with solid amber Bamboo plus solid birch ply with low-VOC non-toxic white finish.
Meeting all safety requirements and made with environmentally conscious materials, Gro cribs are also proudly built in the United States.
Do you have any information on what happened to these cribs? I cannot find any current information on them. I would like to get in contact with the Singelyns.
