There was no holding Chris Hemsworth’s daughter, India back yesterday. While out for lunch with her mom and grandma on Monday the tot showed that she was ready to see the world – on her own! Restless from sitting in one spot, India was photographed exploring the ground around her table.
I will fully admit that I gasped a little bit when I saw India crawling on the sidewalk. But Elsa appeared to have a really cool laid-back attitude about her daughter’s exploration plans so all is good.
Elsa recently told People.com that she resists the trend to dress India like a girly girl.
“I am the worst. I hate to dress her in pink and I don’t know why I have to. Even Chris is [saying] all the time, ‘They think she’s a boy! Can’t you put her in something more girly?’”
“You put them in pink so everyone knows it’s a girl? Why? Just say it,” she adds. “I think if you are a baby and they are already dressing you in pink, it will make you a princess. I just get blues and greys and whites — all different colors.”
India was in a white for her lunch date with her mom and those clothes will likely need a good soak and scrub after her scrabble across the pavement.
