We are happy to introduce you to, Bassinet Harmony, the newest addition to the BABYBJÖRN collection of products. In line with their mission “To make life easier for families with small children by developing safe and innovative products of the highest quality for children up to three years” the Bassinet Harmony is a safe sleeping place where your newborn can rest feeling snug and secure, both during the day and at night.

Most new parents what to keep their little one close by their side for the first few months making this bassinet perfect – with its light weight, transparent mesh fabric and low height, it’s easy to move the bassinet around the house, or take it with you on trips to grandma’s house, while allowing you keep an eye on your child.

The very stylish Bassinet Harmony is simple and practical for both you and the baby. The springy base naturally reacts to your baby’s movements for gentle rocking that allows for more peaceful naps, or with just a light movement of the hand, you can lull your little one to rest.

If you’re like me you may be concerned about the material used and how safe it is for your wee one. You need not worry – the mesh fabric is 100% polyester, the mattress cover is cotton, the legs are wood and steel, and the feet are made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. They are guaranteed harmless to children’s sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.

Another feature I love about the Bassinet Harmony is that the fabric is easy to remove and is machine-washable (warm 40 °C). The mattress and cover are also machine-washable (hot 60 °C).

Designed for newborns to aprox. 5 months (Maximum weight 18lbs/8kg) and weighing only 11 lbs/5 kg the BABYBJÖRN Bassinet Harmony is one of the few products that combines both design and function harmoniously.
