Forget Iron Man, Iron Baby is taking the internet by storm and now the filmmaker is getting offers from producers from in Hollywood.
The mini-movie, which has already been viewed far more than 2.6 million times, stars a smiley little toddler who takes on the evil stuffed in animals while protected by her suit of armor.
Montreal filmmaker Patrick Boivin and Jocelyn Strob Simard spent two months producing the clip, which cost the pair almost nothing since they had all the equipment and the lead actress is Patrick’s daughter Margaret.
As for the Iron Baby herself, wee Margaret is now a year old and is said to be delighted by the experience.
“I wanted her to have fun doing it,” said Boivin.
He thinks his daughter will love the video in, say, 25 years from now. After all, what child wouldn’t be thrilled to see herself portrayed as a super hero encased in a suit that allows her to fly and shoot lasers out of her hand?
Asked if there was perhaps an Iron Baby 2 or Iron Toddler in the works, Boivin was reluctant to reveal any details.
