Actress Jaime Pressly and Eric Cubiche are celebrating the safe arrival of their baby boy, Dezi James. Born in Los Angeles, Dezi weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz.
Jaime, who is known for her Emmy-nominated performances and her clothing line J’aime, shared that the name is a playful nod to a running joke between her and Eric. He does a Desi Arnaz impersonation, calling her “Luuucy” when he comes home. James is also a tribute to her father.
The couple had been friends for over nine years before dating for a year and a half. In October, Eric proposed to Jaime with a ring they designed together. They are in no rush to get married, as Jaime believes that becoming a parent comes before tying the knot.
