Katharine McPhee was been filming her new movie “House Bunny,” where she plays a pregnant college sorority girl in her feature film debut.
She sports a faux belly, which happens to look quite cute on her. The prosthetic ‘bump’ is a Hollywood hand-me-down.
According to People magazine, the fake belly was once worn by Nicole Kidman.
“I tried on Nicole Kidman’s belly,” McPhee told People. “And they said, ‘Oh, this one fits perfectly. We don’t need to try any more.’ I was so happy, because I didn’t have to sit through hours of the prosthetic fitting.”
Shooting in LA, “House Bunny” also stars Rumer Willis and Anna Faris.
The film follows the adventures of a Playboy bunny named Shelley (played by Faris) who gets tossed out of the mansion and winds up with the sorority girls of Zeta Tau Zeta at the local college campus.
She gets to have the cuteness of pregnancy without the swollen feet/face and 12 hours of labour at the end.
