It’s all totally free, but get there early so you don’t miss out on the fun.
On Sunday we had the chance to play at the Magic of Play booth at Vaughn Mills, Toronto and my boys had a blast! Sometimes you want to go to the mall and have something there for the kids to do to break up your trip. The Magic of Play booth is perfect for that!
This area isn’t a ‘drop and go’ type set-up, but more a really great place to breakup a shopping trip or a good reason to visit the mall!
Disney Junior and LEGO had quite a few staff on hand manning each table to help kids create and discover new way to build. These kids were determined to construct the highest tower possible and the staff was eager to help.
There were even some boards mounted to the walls to teach them ways to build vertically.
Duplo blocks are designed a little bigger so that little hands can hold them more easily. They also go together with less effort, which gives kids the confidence to keep building. And even though Duplo is an ‘early learner’ block, my kids love building with them because they come in so many fun themes. The booth was filled with a large variety of their sets, which made for some good building!
If kids just want to sit and relax, one side of the booth has a large screen TV, which is tuned into Disney Junior. On the other side they can pose with Jake or Sofia.
