Luv n’ Care has issued a recall for approximately 33,600 Nuby Stroller Fans due to a serious laceration injury hazard.
The recall was initiated after reports that the fan’s housing design allows small fingers to come into direct contact with the blades, posing a significant risk of injury. Luv n’ Care has received seven reports of children accessing the blades, with six incidents resulting in laceration injuries.
The affected Nuby Stroller Fans feature three speeds, flexible tripod legs designed to wrap around stroller bars, and a rechargeable USB port. They are black, with the Nuby brand name displayed on the front. Consumers can identify the recalled units by checking for lot number N8K10X and model number 25138, printed on a white label on the back center of the fan.
These stroller fans were available for purchase at Baby Express, Burlington Coat Factory, Target, and Unique Photo stores nationwide, as well as online via Amazon.com and us.nuby.com. The affected units were sold between May 2024 and June 2024 for approximately $15.
