If you dress them up cute they’ll behave right? nope. Mariah Carey learned this quickly yesterday during her Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony in Los Angeles when her twins started to run amok while she was being presented with her plaque and star.
The day started off well. Twins Monroe and Moroccan were seated in the front row with their mom.
Soon, however, they became bored.
And despite the fact that the singer had not one but TWO nannies on hand to help, Moroccan refused to be separated from his mom. While she was on stage accepting her award the 4-year-old could be seen grabbing her dress calling ‘Mommy, Mommy’.
Giving in, the singer picked him up. “I love you, Mommy” he declared into the microphone. Not wanting to be upstaged by her brother, Monroe then told her mom she wanted a little mic time too, adorably protesting her love as well.
When it was time for Mariah to pose with her star Moroccan sprung into action again putting her into a head lock before just laying down beside her and refusing to leave.
Completely unfazed, Mariah posed for photos throughout the whole event, even while an assistant attempted to whisk Moroccan away.
Afterwards she told People.com,
“I didn’t know what they were going to do or say. Trust me, it was not planned! For them to be here was everything. I’m so humbled and grateful.”
