In a rare sighting, Michelle Williams and her daughter Matilda were photographed arriving at M Cafe in Los Angeles to have lunch with “Cougar Town” actress Busy Philipps on Wednesday(February 29).
Because Michelle is so private we don’t often see Matilda. Now 6 and in grade 1, she bares a strong resemblance to her late father Heath Ledger.
While walking the red carpet on Sunday night for the 84th Academy Awards Michelle told Tim Gunn that Matilda helped her get ready.
She also dedicated her speech to her at the Golden Globes in January saying,
‘I consider myself a mother first and an actress second and so the person I most want to thank is my daughter, my little girl, whose bravery and exuberance is the example that I take with me in my work and in my life. I want to say thank you for sending me off to this job every day with a hug and a kiss. I couldn’t have done it otherwise and making me so excited to come home at night. ‘
She is a great mom and a genuine person.
