Now in the home stretch, Jessica Simpson shared a picture on Thursday or herself enjoying some time at Laguna Beach.
Often spotted in heels and chunky wedges, the mom-to-be has finally given into her pregnancy and switched to flip-flop. Probably more appropriate for the setting, the flats are also safer for the singer. Because of weight increases and body shape and center of gravity changes during pregnancy, moms often walk differently (and less steadily). This could cause a fall, which could potentially hurt the baby.
Just after she announced she was expecting Jessica joked she would be delivering in heels saying,
“I’m probably going to deliver my baby in these [4-inch YSL heels]. I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, ‘You’re gonna need to get out of those heels!'”
Her response? “I was like, ‘Excuse me! I’ll be delivering in these heels!”
I guess that plan has changed.
