RECALL – 608,786 Nuna Rava Car Seats Due To Front Adjuster Malfunction

Nuna Baby Essentials, Inc. recently announced a voluntary recall of its Rava Convertible Car Seats manufactured between July 16, 2016, and October 25, 2023. The recall is due to a potential defect in the harness adjustment mechanism that could compromise the seat’s ability to properly restrain children in a crash.

The defect involves the harness adjuster mechanism. Debris may enter the area where the adjuster button is located, preventing the mechanism’s teeth from securely clamping the adjuster strap. This could cause the harness to loosen unexpectedly, increasing the risk of injury in an accident.

Is Your Car Seat Affected?

To determine if your Nuna Rava is part of the recall:

  • Check the model number and date of manufacture, which are located on the bottom of the seat or the side of the carton.
