Iconic British nursery brand Silver Cross has teamed up with the renowned Italian luxury sports car maker, Automobili Lamborghini, to create a new stroller: the Reef AL Arancio.
Silver Cross, creators of the original pram in 1877, and Lamborghini are uniting their expertise to offer a luxurious, high-performance baby travel system that blends craftsmanship with precision engineering. Nick Paxton, CEO of Silver Cross, highlighted the collaboration’s significance, stating, “This unique collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini gave Silver Cross the opportunity to accelerate the evolution of the baby travel system to create the Reef AL Arancio. The bravery to challenge everything has resulted in an icon which exemplifies the authenticity of both brands.”
This limited-edition stroller builds on Silver Cross’ award-winning multi-terrain Reef 2 model, featuring Lamborghini’s signature design elements. Phil Taylor, Silver Cross’ Design Director, emphasized the inspiration behind the collaboration, saying, “Taking design inspiration from Automobili Lamborghini brand pillars, Brave, Unexpected and Authentic, this exclusive collaboration showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and innovation of the Silver Cross team.”
The Reef AL Arancio is striking with its flashes of Lamborghini’s signature orange against sleek black fabrics, featuring a unique Y pattern, diagonal stitching, and a matte powder-coated chassis. With Lamborghini-inspired luxury finishes like a genuine leather handlebar and bumper bar, along with automotive suede for maximum comfort, this stroller exudes sophistication.
Set to be unveiled at Kind + Jugend in Cologne, Germany, this high-end stroller will be available in early 2025, with only 500 units being produced.
