People.com was first to report that Penelope Athena joined the family on Wednesday. The couple, who are already parents to Alice, 5, waited until the delivery to find out the baby’s gender.
Tina jokingly told Ellen DeGeneres in April that they may even wait until he/she was 17 saying,
“I’m just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom,” kidded the then mom-to-be.
According to E! News, Penelope Athena comes from Greek mythology. Penelope was Odysseus’ ‘super-crafty’ wife, and Athena was the daughter of Zeus.
