Toms and Disney have collaborated to create a truly magical princess collection of kids($49-$59) and women’s footwear styles($64.95-$75).
FootwearNews.com reports that Toms dug into the archives to create a 30-piece capsule of shoes featuring original never-before-seen character sketches from the classic films “Cinderella,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “Snow White.”
“The prints in the new collection were originally created between the mid-1930s and 1959 by a group of young female artists and animators who worked behind the scenes to infuse color and magic into Disney’s much-loved movies.”
Tom is hoping the collection will empower women and girls to pursue their dreams OR “[It’s] for those who break glass ceilings in glass slippers.”
The line consists of three styles: Toms signature shoes, lace-up and kid’s velcro slip-ons.
Look for the first wave of the collection to hit stores on June 21 with shoes inspired by Cinderella and Gus and Jaq.
Sleeping Beauty and the fairy godmothers will arrive in stores on July 19, followed by Snow White and the seven dwarfs on Aug. 23.
In addition, Toms has revealed they will release a special six-piece holiday capsule collection of shoes on Oct. 18.
The Toms x Disney products will come in specially designed packaging. As expected, Toms will continue with their one for one policy for every item purchased from the collection.
