A set of Calgary quadruplets born in Montana have been reunited. Two of the newborns flew home with their mother Friday night, joining their siblings who were transported back a day earlier.
Medical staff at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Mont. prepared Karen Jepp, the 35-year-old mother of the rare identical quadruplets, for the flight to Calgary with two of her daughters, Autumn and Brooke.
The babies were then transported to an undisclosed local hospital.
The quadruplets were born Sunday in Great Falls because no Canadian neonatal intensive care unit had enough space to care for all four newborns.
Jepp’s two other babies, Calissa and Dahlia, returned to Calgary Thursday with their father, J.P. Jepp, who said Friday he was thrilled his daughters would soon all be together again.
